Description
It is a very special plant with long narrow, curly, green leaves that grow on top of a swollen trunk that has the peculiarity of storing water at the base. The most distinctive feature is the growth that after years the plant can become quite tall and the fact that it looks like a fountain that runs water.
Care
It is a plant that prefers bright places with plenty of sunlight but without being indirect because it will easily burn the leaves. Avoid direct contact with the sun's rays.
Watering
Keep the soil moist without overwatering and water when the soil starts to become slightly dry. The advantage that this particular plant has is that storing water at the base of the trunk helps it survive in situations where it is left unwatered for a short period of time.
Temperature
The ideal temperature is: 5-25 °C with a cold resistance limit (3 °C)
Transplanting
Use soil suitable for houseplants with good drainage (enriched peat). Replant every 2-3 years depending on the growth rate of the plant.
