Description
This cute little bonsai friend is actually the well-known Ficus Benjamin but a smaller version, since the term bonsai, which has Japanese roots, means "tree in a saucer". Ficus bonsai is an evergreen houseplant that can add a unique touch to any place it is placed. Its trunk with the special ''tangling'' that it creates, combined with its small, green and smooth-textured leaves, make it a plant that is a particular favourite of all of us.
Care
The Ficus bonsai prefers to be placed in a bright spot with plenty of indirect light, as it is particularly fond of high light intensities.
Watering:
Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil moist at all times, but not excessively, as this will cause the leaves to drop and the root system to rot.
Temperature:
The ideal temperature range is 16-24 °C. Avoid cold drafts
Transplanting:
Every 2-3 years. Use good quality substrate suitable for houseplants.
Tips
This plant filters toxins and purifies the air in your home environment.
