Description
Sanseveria, also known as sansevieria, is one of the most impressive and hardy houseplants to decorate your home and office. Sanseveria has characteristic narrow pointed leaves that grow upwards, which are kept lush and vibrant all year round. The lush foliage of the sansyveria with its vibrant color creates a unique combination that makes it look like an artificial plant.
Care
The sandalwood belongs to the houseplants that do not need much light and have minimal care requirements. It is a very adaptable plant that can be grown outdoors, in the yard and on the balcony.
Watering:
The sanserva is very hardy and its water needs are very limited. Water the sansyvera about once a month in spring and autumn and only after the soil has dried out. In the hot summer period, we water more frequently, about every 2 weeks.
Temperature:
It does not like low temperatures, below 5 - 10 οC. It grows very well at temperatures up to 29 οC, but can withstand much higher temperatures.
Transplanting:
Use soil suitable for houseplants with good drainage (enriched peat). Sunflower has a very strong root system and has the ability to retain water in its leaves, so it can grow without much care.
